Watch Movies on R4 Card

Step 1

Convert your movie file into a DPG file. You will need a video
converter for this. There are many freeware converters, such as SUPER,
which are easy to download and use. There is also DVDFab, which is not
freeware, but has a 30-day trial and can convert whole DVDs into DPG
files.

Step 2

Plug in your R4 card, and double-click it to access it.

Step 3

Go into "System" and then "Movies." If a "Movies" folder is not
present, create one by right-clicking and selecting "New Folder."
Click and drop the movie into this folder, then disconnect the R4
card.

If you want to get more organized, you can even create other
folders in "Movies" such as "Comedy" or "Action."

Step 4

Input the R4 card into your Nintendo DS and turn your Nintendo
DS on.

Step 5

Go into the "Multimedia" folder. From there, select "Movies."
Select the movie you want to watch from the list of your DPG files.

Step 6

Press the "A" button, or tap it with your Stylus to confirm your
selection. The movie will begin playing on the top screen of your
Nintendo DS.

Get a 4GB Card to Work With R4 in DS

Step 1

Download the firmware for the R4 card (see Resources). Double-
click the downloaded file to unzip.

Step 2

Connect your 4GB MicroSD card to the USB port of your computer
using the MicroSD adapter supplied with the R4 card.

Step 3

Copy all files and folders from the unzipped firmware folder to
the root directory of the MicroSD card, then eject and remove the
card.

Step 4

Insert the MicroSD card into the slot on the back of your R4
cartridge. Ensure that the MicroSD card is inserted correctly, with
the key-shaped indentations on the left side of the card.

Step 5

Insert the R4 cartridge into the top slot of your Nintendo DS.
Turn the system on to complete the firmware update. Your R4 cartridge
is now ready for use with the new 4GB storage unit.

Install Nintendo DS Opera

•Step 1
Connect to the Internet on your DSi using a Wi-Fi connection. Once
connected, you will see the Nintendo DSi shop. Click on the option to
go to the shop.

•Step 2
Browse through the downloads until you see the Nintendo DSi Browser.
This is the same as the Opera browser. Click on the Download option.

•Step 3
Go to your main online menu once the browser is finished downloading.
Go to your Download option and you'll see the DSi browser. Press the
"A" button to load it, and it will automatically install itself.

•Step 4
Choose how you want to view the websites on the browser when the
Preferences option first appears. You can do this by using your stylus
on the touch screen.

•Step 5
Click on the option to view the step-by-step tutorial for using the
web browser. During the tutorial, you can find new ways to change your
preferences, and learn how to fully utilize the browser.

Download Music to Nintendo DS

•Step 1
Insert the SD card into your computer's SD slot or SD card reader.

•Step 2
Click "My Computer.". Click "Removable Disk.". This will open the root
storage of your SD card. This is where all of the files on your SD
card are placed.

•Step 3
Drag and drop the compatible AAC audio files into the root storage of
the SD card.

•Step 4
Remove the SD card when you are finished transferring what you want.

•Step 5
Insert the SD card into the SD card slot of the Nintendo DS.

•Step 6
Turn the DS on and go to the DS menu.

•Step 7
Select the sound icon.

•Step 8
Select "Play with your music.". This will bring up the information on
your SD card.

•Step 9
Select the song you want to listen to and then press "Start.".

•Step 1
First you will need software for M3i zero card. You can get it
downloaded from here : www.handheldsources.com/M3DS/Download_M3DSR.html
then see "System for M3i Zero & M3DS Real(29-09-2009)" and download:
System V4.5 Beta X (Europe/USA)
& also download
Core for M3i Zero only:(26-08-2009)

•Step 2
You will need winrar/zip program to download & you can get it free at
www.download.com. After you have downloaded pl. carry on

•Step 3
-Before continuing it is suggested you format your micro SD/ SDHC card
in your computer. You may also find it useful to give you micro SD
card a volume label when formatting. This makes it easier to identify
your card.
-How do you format a drive? Insert Micro SD or SDHC card into USB
reader>USB Port>Go to my computer, select the drive, example D: F: >
right click>select FAT32>select and click "Quick format" > you should
get format ok.

•Step 4
-Once the above downloads are installed ok you should see a "SYSTEM"
folder (1st download). Simply transfer it or drag and drop this folder
onto the root of your formatted micro SD/SDHC card. In the 2nd
download window double click "F-core" and you should see F_CORE.DAT
file. Transfer this as well on to the micro sd card's root. Now take
the micro sd out and insert in M3i card whilst gently inserting the
M3i cable in the small hole on the other side of M3i card.

•Step 5
-Now connect the M3i card via small USB cable in your pc and let the
red (mostly) or blue flashing light come to an end after 30 seconds.
-Thats it. The M3i is now setup and ready to be used

•Step 1
Before continuing it is suggested you format your micro SD/SDHC card
in your computer by using your card reader or the USB adapter. How to
format? After your pc added the SD card as a new drive, open the "My
Computer" window and right click on the removable drive. Select format
option by right clicking.
In the format window select FAT32 as file system> choose quick format
and press OK to format the card. If you have important data on the
Micro SD/SDHC card make sure you save the data somewhere else before
you complete this step.

•Step 2
Please type in www.ezflash.cn/zip/RC7.rar onto your browser and the
download window should appear itself. Save the file on your desktop.
You will need winrar/ zip program to download this and if you dont
have this program on your pc already you can get it free at www.download.com,
just type in rar/zip on the site's search bar.

•Step 3
After downloading complete, You will see a RAR file (or you will see 1
folder and 1 file as in the next line if rar/zip program auto
extracts), extract the RAR file using winrar/zip program.
After extracting you should see "EZ5shell" folder and "ez5sys.bin"
file. Transfer both of these or drag or drop or copy and paste these 2
parts to the root directory (This is important) of formatted
TransFlash ( TF )/ Micro SD/SDHC memory card. [The "root" of a micro
sd/sdhc is the first window that pops up when you open the disk drive-
or you can open it by going to my computer>right click>open].Finally,
please check you have the above folder and file on your Micro SD card.

•Step 4
Thats it! You can now eject your Micro SD/SDHC card from your
computer, put it in your EZ5i adapter, and boot this up in you
Nintendo DSi.

•Step 5
To update for DSi 1.4 : - To make EZVi work in DSi 1.4 you will need
to do all of the above plus an additional download . Please go to
linfoxdomain.com/nintendo/ds/,click Ez flash > download EZ5i firmware
v14.zip . Extract it and transfer or copy and paste all to the micro
sd in addition to the main drivers as above. Thats it. Your Ez-Flash
Vi is ready for DSi 1.4.
